PREPARATION & COOKING
Pan Fry: Preheat frying pan to 375°F (190°C). Cover the bottom of pan with cooking oil, margarine or butter. Place defrosted perogies in pan; turn frequently for 8-10 minutes, browning to your likeness. Boil: Place perogies in boiling water. Stir gently, perogies will float in about 3 minutes. Cook for additional minute or 2. Drain, toss gently in melted butter or margarine.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Served traditionally with sautéed onion, bacon bits and sour cream. Serve with most meals replacing potatoes or rice. Serve with your favourite sauce, seasoning or condiment. Yogurt is an excellent option. Use in soups, salads, appetizers, main courses, casseroles.
